Brazilian Coffee: Our Roast Story
Our Roasting Facility
Creating a perfect beverage is not only
our passion, but our mission with each
and every bean we roast. We select only
the best of beans available and with care
develop our roasting strategies for the
different taste profiles most wanted by our
clients. Our roast master carefully selects
our beans with the understanding that our
coffee must create the taste experience
that satisfies with every cup. Attention to
every step in the process, and the desire
to produce that perfect cup of coffee
insures all of our clients the best tasting
beverages.
Brazilian Canadian Coffee Roasters was
established in 1975 and is a family owned
and operated company. For over 40 years
we have been dedicated to manufacturing
the highest quality gourmet coffees. Our
50,000 square foot modern
manufacturing plant located in Toronto
allows us to control the entire process in
roasting great coffee.
Always Fresh
Our whole bean products are packaged
immediately after the roasting process
and include a one-way valve that allows
carbon dioxide (CO2) to escape, while
preventing oxygen from entering the
bag. This preserves the beans and
keeps them as fresh as they were the
day they were roasted. Our portion
packed coffees are ground and
packaged using state-of-the-art
equipment and techniques.
Each pouch is individually
gas flushed using nitrogen to ensure that
your coffee stays fresh.
FairTrade
Our Fair Trade purchasing
program ensures that the small
scale farmer who grow and
process these beans receive
a fair price for their efforts. This enables
farmers to care for themselves, their
families, and their communities while
reinvesting in the care and quality of their
coffee.
Organic
Our organic coffee’s are
cultivated with natural garden-
ing techniques like compost-
ing, and terracing and grown entirely
without pesticides, herbicides or chemical
fertilizers.
Quality Management
Our Quality Assurance department is
one of the finest and most advanced in
Canada and is staffed with highly skilled
professionals. Rigorous tests ensure the
quality is always high. Oxygen analysis,
grind analysis and our unique AGTRON
colour analysis specifications are just a
few of the tests that we perform. Our
tasting experts cup every blend and batch
in our laboratory to ensure that our
customers will always be fully satisfied.
